Abrasive Flap Discs are manufactured by overlapping coated abrasive flaps and fasten them on the fiberglass backing plates. This design make the flap disc have the best heat dissipation features to avoid burning workpiece ,at the same time , it also prolong the using life of coated sanding disc.
Generally , The characteristics of abrasive flap disc mainly depend on the quality of the gauze material and the category of abrasive cloth. At present , three different kinds of abrasive cloth are used for manufacturing the abrasive flap disc in our company . Our main abrasive cloth is Aluminum oxide gauze, Zirconium corundum gauze and silicon carbide gauze.
All these polishing flap disc manufactured by different abrasive cloth are specifically recommended for high stock removal on stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and most alloys. It guarantees high flexibility, constant high grinding performance and low vibration running during the using process.

1)、Aluminum Oxide Flap Disc is the standard product for universal metal working, especially surface grinding. This fused alumina flap disc is mainly used for grinding and polishing carbon steel metal, wood, metal, iron, welding rods etc. This kind of flap disc is also called Metal Polishing Flap Disc, just because it mainly used for common metal steel.
